You Can Have A Home-Based Business In Delta

Posted by: Phil    in Home Business

You Can Have A Home-Based Business In Delta What does it take to succeed as a home based business owner in Delta? I believe that the most important quality is dedication. I operate a direct sales business in my Delta home. My network includes over 1000 Peanut Butter Cups distributors.

Many of my team members had never operated a home business before they launched their Peanut Butter Cups business. However, they were committed to learning on the job. Perseverance is the key. Of course, they all brought the skills they had acquired in their previous positions and applied them to their new venture.

What are your skills? Do you work in the tech support department for a large Vancouver online retailer? Are you a persuasive Surrey sales rep? Are you a Langley domestic technician (stay at home mom) who is a multi-tasking pro?

If so, you can build an income-generating home based business and supplement your income. If you would like to learn about the Peanut Butter Cups opportunity, you can email me at phil@philhoskins.com or call me at 604.943.8598.

Attention Richmond Customer Service Pros!

Posted by: Phil    in Healthy Chocolate

Richmond CSR home business If you are Richmond customer service pro, you will do great with a Peanut Butter Cups business. Let me explain.

Some Richmond entrepreneurs who consider starting a Peanut Butter Cups home business without prior business experience wonder if they can be successful.

I tell them that it is helpful to understand some basic business principles. One key principle is Focusing on the Customer Customer service specialists know exactly what this means.

Why do some online business owners in Richmond fail? They take their eye off the customer. Successful Richmond small business owners never lose sight of who keeps them in business.

It is an easy trap to fall into. Most first-time Richmond entrepreneurs start the whole process by putting all their energy and resources into the product. If they never shift that to the customer, their home business never gets to the next level. This is understandable; it is the owner’s passion for the product that spurred the creation of the home business in the first place.

It doesn’t matter if you are selling the most wonderful product in the world, if it doesn’t satisfy your Richmond customer, your business will fold.

With a network marketing business like the Peanut Butter Cups opportunity, we have eliminated this problem because the product is all taken care of. The research and development, testing, manufacturing, and delivery system for Peanut Butter Cups is in place. Peanut Butter Cups brand awareness is growing in Richmond and throughout the world as it receives enthusiastic MLM reviews and favorable media attention.

To make a Peanut Butter Cups business grow, a customer service rep/entrepreneur can do what they do best: single-mindedly focus on the customers.

Richmond veteran customer service reps: leave your cubicle, headset, and hourly wage behind and start collecting checks from your own customers. Call me today to sign up!

What Makes You Happy?

Posted by: Phil    in Healthy Chocolate

Delta Healthy Chocolate What makes you happy?

One of my Delta neighbors says ‘my family‘. My closest friend predictably said “friends“. A Langley business associate insists ‘money‘. Almost everyone I know says ‘chocolate‘ never fails to bring a smile to their face. A friend who lives in Vancouver answered ‘love‘. A Delta Facebook friend believes that happiness is not possible without freedom. A Surrey humanitarian says that he always feels better when he is helping people.

I am entrpreneur and investor in human spirit Phil Hoskins of Delta, BC. Working as an independent Vancouver Xocai distributor makes me very happy. And guess what? The reasons are the same! The flexibility of owning a network marketing business gives me the freedom to spend time with those I love – my family and friends. I enjoy helping people improve their health and make money by sharing Xocai. And, of course, I love eating Xocai healthy chocolate!

There’s more; Chocolate literally elevates my mood because it triggers the release of endorphins, the ‘feel good’ neurotransmitters.

Do you need a mood booster? Xocai chocolate may be your ticket to happiness. I would be happy to tell you more (sorry, I couldn’t resist). I can be reached at 604.943.8598 and phil@philhoskins.com.

Here’s wishing you a very happy day!

Keep Your Vancouver Kids Fit

Posted by: Phil    in Child Health

Keep Your Vancouver Kids Fit An important element in any BC child’s health is physical activity. Most young Delta children are busy exploring their world and don’t need any encouragement to run, skip, or jump. But spontaneous activities like these may decline during the tween years when most Richmond children begin spending more time on indoor activities like TV watching, video game playing, and texting.

As Vancouver parents we need to be more proactive during these years to make sure our kids are physically fit. Helping them choose a popular Vancouver sport such as soccer, baseball, or skiing is an excellent way to encourage activity.

Provide active toys such as jump ropes, hula hoops, bikes, and roller blades and limit sedentary activities like movie watching.

Model the physically active behavior you want your Delta child to have. Take walks with your kids. Take advantage of Vancouver recreational options. Go snow boarding, swimming, or hiking with them to show them that being active and fit is important to you.

Active Richmond kids need healthy between-meal snacks such as dried fruit, nuts, string cheese, and protein bars. As a child’s health advocate in BC, I would love to share one of my favorite super-nutritious snacks with you. Please contact me today!

Nettie’s Most Awesome Beets Recipe

Posted by: Phil    in Recipes, Sides

This is as close as we have been able to get to Nettie’s Beet recipe. She was a Ukrainian neighbor who always brought these to the table as her share dish.

  • 3 Large Beets
  • 1 Onion (red onion or walla walla)
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 – 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 – 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 -2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Butter to taste

Boil beets whole under tender in a covered pot or steamer. Once they are cool enough to handle, remove skis and slice thinly or cut into julienne strips (I use a mandolin). Place them in a pot with onion, bay leaf, cloves, salt and approximately 1/2 cup of water.

Bring to boil and simmer until they are well done (about 1/2 hour).

In a bowl mix vinegar, brown sugar and cornstarch. Add to beet mixture and stir until thickened on medium heat. Add butter and enjoy!

Less Meat, More Plants For Healthier Richmond Kids The meat-heavy Standard American Diet (SAD) is, well, sad. Richmond diets high in meat and low in plants are the reason we have higher rates of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. If you have been eating the SAD diet for the past 30 years, you probably ought to get your cholesterol checked.

How can we help our Richmond kids eat more live foods? One of the best ways is to grow them yourself.

You can plant a garden in a yard, in containers on a deck or patio, or even in pots indoors. I have seen each of these types of gardens in my Richmond neighborhood.

Your garden can be pesticide and hormone free. Your kids will have fun planting, weeding, and harvesting their own ‘crops’. Our children don’t need to grow up believing that carrots and spinach come from the produce section at their nearest Richmond grocery store.

My family is trying to eat less meat and more plant-based foods. I also sell a fantastic antioxidant plant-based product. For more information on my kids favorite health food, call me today at 604.943.8598.

Delta Parents: Is Your Child's Car Seat Safe?

Anyone in Delta who transports kids in their car should regularly review the child safety seat regulations. BC and federal laws are periodically updated. Delta parents who think their six year-old doesn’t need to be in a booster seat may be surprised to learn that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recommends that children stay in a booster seat until their height and weight exceed the manufacturer’s limits.

Complete recommendations can be found at http://www.nhtsa.gov/Safety/CPS

Here are some quick facts for Delta parents:

  • Keep infants and toddlers rear-facing as long as possible.
  • Upgrade child safety seat when child reaches max height and weight for each particular model.
  • Most BC Wal-Mart, Target, and Babies-R-Us stores carry safety seats for all ages.
  • Delta children are ALWAYS safer in the back seat and those under twelve should never ride in the front seat.

I am Activ, the healthy chocolate beverage distributor Phil Hoskins. Thanks for visiting my Delta children’s health site. If you would like information about a terrific nutritional product available in Delta, call, text, or email me today.
